Hotel holidays for families in the Black Forest are great fun here with us, that’s what our youngest guests tell us – our comprehensive range of Wellness offerings and restaurant choices, including children’s facilities, provides something for all the family. One of the great benefits for children is the vast extent of our site which is car-free but located in the heart of Nature and even has its own self-contained private parkland. The Black Forest has also been designated a “family-friendly region“ by the Tourismus-Dachverband Baden-Württemberg (umbrella organisation for tourism in Baden-Württemberg) – So, as you can see, we are the perfect location for your family hotel holiday in the Black Forest!

Overnight stays with children in the Parkhotel Adler
We have two stylish family rooms available in the Black Forest House as well comfortable and elegantly furnished family suites in the main building, with children’s areas specially furnished and decorated to suit their tastes. If these are unavailable for your requested dates: one child can stay over night with you in the deluxe double room category and above – the sizes of the rooms and suites suitable for families range from 30 to 60m2. Depending upon the category, the child will sleep in an extra bed or on a sofa bed that converts into a couch during the daytime – leaving enough space for playing!
What we provide and what we charge when children travel with adults
Services for all children below the age of 18
Regardless as to whether or not charges are incurred for overnight stays for your children, we will fundamentally provide the following services for them if they stay overnight in the Parkhotel Adler with you or their grandparents:
- Breakfast from the buffet
- Lunch from the snack buffet, including the drinks supplied (water, juices)
- “Afternoon tea,” including alcohol-free, hot drinks
- Basic inclusive services
The evening meal can be ordered in our "Adler Stuben Restaurant” or from the special children’s menu, or individually from the main menu at à la carte prices.
Overnight stay prices
Our special family-friendly offer: Up to two adults can stay in our family rooms and family suites – and the price for the overnight stay will only be charged for them. Two or – depending upon the category – three children under the age of eighteen can stay overnight in the parents’ or grandparents’ room at no additional charge.
If your children say together with you in a different category (available from deluxe double room and with a maximum of one child), the costs for them will be as follows:
- For children up to and including the age of 6: no charge
- For children up to and including the age of 17: flat rate of €60.00 per child
From their 18th birthday, young guests are considered full-paying guests and can only stay overnight in their own rooms. The category we recommend for this is our comfortable classic and deluxe single rooms!
Family suites in the main building
Families who spend their holiday here are really impressed with the clever partitioning of the rooms and just how spacious they are, ranging from 37 up to 44m2. Each of these special suites is individually designed and all the things that children love have been incorporated into the design of every child’s room.
Family rooms in the Black Forest House
The exceptionally stylish rooms are perfect for families who value spacious accommodation as well as modern living in their hotel. Guests are also impressed with the exclusively furnished bathrooms. One of the special highlights for children is the mezzanine sleeping area which turns an overnight stay into an adventure. A bed can be set up in the living room and bedroom for younger children who are not so keen on sleeping so high up.

For the overnight stay we offer baby crib and the appropriate bedding.
You can also have a nappy pail for the room. We’ll be happy to warm up baby bottles on request.

Outdoor paradies
They can also let off steam running around our private park with meadow, small wood, game reserve and duck pond. Food for our white deer can be purchased from Reception. Another experience for them to enjoy is a tour in our new family rickshaw which we provide free of charge.

Massage with aromatic oil or warm chocolate – sounds exciting doesn't it? Why not try it out in our “PureWellness | Christine Homburger” Spa. For youngsters, we recommend the "Youth Spa" offer with a facial treatment, partial body massage and manicure specially adapted for teenagers.
