The wedding locations in the Parkhotel Adler Black Forest
With its variety of stylish locations, the Parkhotel Adler has always been one of the most popular wedding venues in the Black Forest, near Freiburg. The historic and elegant modern elements here, together with the wide-open, unspoilt natural surroundings, form the perfect backdrop to hold your celebration in an atmospheric setting. You can choose from between several locations for your celebration event – from rustic and cosy, to ultra-elegant, to lavish. The view of the surrounding countryside reinforces the feeling that this is a very special place where guests have been catered for since 1446.
Pavillon „Diva”
Location: Stand-alone building on the shore of the small Lake Adler on our estate.
Our open-end-location with sun terrace and superb views. Stylish and lavish, those are the attributes of this extraordinary event location. The building is fully glazed and has space for a dance floor - depending on the number of people.
Restaurant„Bergkristall“
Location: Separate section which forms part of the “Adler Stuben” restaurant in the Black Forest House.
This atmospheric space radiates total elegance and warmth, featuring patio doors that let in plenty of light. The “Bergkristall” simultaneously has space for a dance floor and the DJ. An opportunity for open-end celebrations!
Restaurant „Stube“
Location: Separate area, with some historical features, in our “Adler Stuben” restaurant in the Black Forest House.
The ancient "Stube", which is very popular with guests, combines past, present and - in the case of weddings – the future, all in one. The builders, ancestors of hotel manager Katja Newman, who constructed the Black Forest House in 1639, look benevolently down on the guests from a mural. The wall cladding, some items of furniture and the tiled stove are still preserved in their original condition. The old floor beneath the carpet creaks, a reminder of all the hundreds of years over which people have walked on to enjoy good wining and dining.
Stable
Location: Secluded location by the duck pond in the wood copse of the private park.
This small, rustic cottage was once used as a horse stable. Today it is the perfect location for wedding parties who prefer a simple Black Forest style that conveys a sense of warmth and cosiness. The location beneath trees and the shaded terrace make the "Stable" ideal for a small-scale summer wedding. It can also be booked for an outdoor get-together on the eve of the wedding. Or for a snack after the wedding ceremony, before setting off for the actual celebration venue here with us. Tip: A barbecue on the terrace is extremely popular with guests! In Winter: fondue dining – the location has got heating.
Privat Hotel Park
Location: The private park covers 60 percent of the area of our estate. It can be accessed via a gate at the main building.
With its expansive meadow, rose pavilion, water points and ancient fountains, the private park has a very natural look and feel and in fine weather is suitable for receptions, non-religious ceremonies or – only for citizens of Germany and Switzerland – a civil wedding. The Pavilion in the wellness area is available as a covered location within the park. Thanks to the size of the park no limits set are placed on the number of people who can attend an event.
