- For this evening, we will be putting on a buffet for the children, with dishes to suit their taste, plus soft drinks.
- Dance into the New Year to the music from a live band.
- Celebrate midnight with a firework display organised exclusively for our guests on the shores of the small, romantic Adlersee on our estate.
Morning of New Year’s Day
on the 1st January
Enjoy a sumptuous New Year's breakfast buffet to 12 noon and toast the New Year once again with a glass of sparkling wine.
Church service in Hinterzarten
Right next to our building is the Catholic Church of Mary in der Zarten and, just a few steps away, the Evangelical Church as well – Christmas masses will actually be held in both in the afternoon. Since religious services are held on an alternating basis with the churches in Breitenau, it is possible that these will also be held there.
Between the days and after New Year’s Eve
During this period we will be offering a varied leisure program, including for example fun around the campfire, a hike across the high moorland, a walk by torchlight and harp music. There will also be a varied programme between the 27th and 31st from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for children aged five and over.
Winter activities
Hinterzarten and the surrounding area also offers a range of activities. Try a guided snowshoe hike with our Snow Academy in the village or take one of our sledges for a ride (included free of charge in the overnight rate. The Feldberg and a number of other smaller winter sports resorts are within a short distance from our hotel. There’s also plenty to do on the cultural front.
